How We Foster Hope Through Helping

As an Army Retired Veteran, Educator and Breast Cancer Survivor, Dr. Lisa Wright, founder of Fight 4 Cure Inc, witnessed the effects a cancer diagnosis had on multiple family members and friends almost on a daily basis. What started by her volunteering to help adult cancer patients through the nonprofit called Cleaning For a Reason, facilitated her to create Fight 4 Cure Inc in 2018. The organization quickly took off as there was a great need to help promote the well-being of adult cancer patients while they were in active treatment.

Originally, Fight 4 Cure Inc provided care boxes and $100 grants to adult cancer patients in active treatment, about to start treatment or in follow up care (within three years). Now, Fight 4 Cure Inc ONLY offers the Fostering Hope: Operation Holiday Spirit Program. Dr. Wright is committed to discovering new and innovative ways to foster hope and encouragement to adult cancer patients so they not only know but also feel ‘They Are Not Alone’.

We foster hope for adult cancer patients in NC local communities: Harnett, Cumberland, Lee and Wake County, who are in active treatment. We offer resources focused on promoting their well-being. We are incredibly proud of the work we do in the local communities, but also believe in the foundation of core values we have established and operate on.
